Job Description

Event Stewards, SIA Door Supervisors, and SIA Door Supervisors with Driving Licence
to support large scale live events at Newmarket Racecourse.
The role focuses on crowd safety, access control, customer service,
and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage crowd movement and ensure spectator safety
- Control entry and exit points and check tickets or accreditation
- Maintain visible security presence throughout the event
- Respond calmly to incidents, emergencies, or customer concerns
- Follow event procedures and complete required reporting
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, staff, and organisers
- Comply with health, safety, and event regulations at all times
Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence for Door Supervisor roles
- Right to Work in the UK with valid identity documents
- Ability to provide a short voice introduction as part of registration
- Full day and night availability on selected event dates
- Driving licence required for Driver roles
- Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety is desirable but not mandatory
