Response Officer

Job Description

This role requires individuals with strong situational awareness, quick decision-making skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Response Officers will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of venues, events, and the general public by responding promptly to incidents and emergencies, while maintaining a highly visible and professional presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of event attendees by maintaining a secure environment
• Handle crowd control, manage conflicts, and provide a visible security presence
• Respond quickly to incidents and emergencies, offering appropriate support
• Work closely with event management to follow established security protocols

Requirements

• Valid SIA Licence (Security Industry Authority) is essential
• Proven experience in security, crowd management, or response roles
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication and conflict management skills
• Physically fit to handle long shifts and respond quickly to incidents
• Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
• Full UK driving licence and access to transport is desirable
