Job Description

This role involves assisting senior chefs, supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food quality standards, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs across all kitchen domains
- Ensure smooth and consistent food production
- Oversee stock purchasing, receipt, and storage
- Maintain cleanliness of all working areas
- Supervise and guide kitchen staff performance
- Perform administrative tasks as directed by superiors
- Ensure compliance with quality, quantity, and safety standards
- Exceed customer expectations through high service standards
- Address customer complaints, inquiries, and suggestions
- Support, mentor, and resolve disputes within the kitchen team
- Promote team spirit and collaboration regularly
- Ensure dishes meet portion, quality, and temperature standards
- Assist in preparing cleaning rosters and supervising schedules
- Prepare substitute items as needed
- Arrange and garnish food attractively
- Manage food logs, quality, and quantity monitoring
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training kitchen staff
- Report maintenance needs to appropriate staff
