Job Description

This role involves assisting senior chefs, supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food quality standards, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior chefs across all kitchen domains
  • Ensure smooth and consistent food production
  • Oversee stock purchasing, receipt, and storage
  • Maintain cleanliness of all working areas
  • Supervise and guide kitchen staff performance
  • Perform administrative tasks as directed by superiors
  • Ensure compliance with quality, quantity, and safety standards
  • Exceed customer expectations through high service standards
  • Address customer complaints, inquiries, and suggestions
  • Support, mentor, and resolve disputes within the kitchen team
  • Promote team spirit and collaboration regularly
  • Ensure dishes meet portion, quality, and temperature standards
  • Assist in preparing cleaning rosters and supervising schedules
  • Prepare substitute items as needed
  • Arrange and garnish food attractively
  • Manage food logs, quality, and quantity monitoring
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training kitchen staff
  • Report maintenance needs to appropriate staff
