FULL DESCRIPTION
Warehouse and Raw Materials Controller
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Warehouse and Raw Materials Controller to ensure raw materials meet specifications and customer standards. Responsibilities include stock control, paperwork, safety, and warehouse organization. The role requires accuracy, computer literacy, and communication skills. Your main areas of responsibility will be:
- Ensure that Health and Safety is given a high priority and is considered in all plans, actions and activities. Play a key role in promoting health and safety awareness on site.
- Ensure stock accuracy.
- Navision – Ensuring the warehouse account is cleared/reconciled on a twice daily basis (that all production has been moved).
- Complete paperwork correctly, clearly and in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all materials are kept safely, free of contamination, is labelled correctly at all times to allow full traceability.
- Ensure that the warehouse areas are kept clean and tidy at all times and staff follow cleaning schedules.
- Ensure Nav stocks are booked accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure CofA/CofC are available for Raw Materials where applicable.
- Maintain Raw Material Intake Record to ensure full traceability of Raw Material/Packaging.
- Keep informed of NPD to ensure awareness of new ingredients, packaging, and suppliers coming on site.
- Aid with stock (shelf life) management/escalation.
- Ensure audit readiness at all times.
You will have the following combination of skills:

- Experience of the food industry, ideally within bakery (desirable).
- Food hygiene training/awareness (desirable).
