About the Role

As a Production Assistant – Printer Level 2 at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk], you’ll play a hands-on role in creating moments that matter. Based at our Tamworth fulfilment centre, you’ll help bring personalised cards and gifts to life — picking, packing, printing and assembling products that arrive with our customers exactly when they need them.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy, teamwork and pride in your work make all the difference. Every order you process contributes directly to customer satisfaction and our brand reputation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Accurately pick and pack cards, gifts and products to fulfil customer orders
  • Operate printing equipment to produce high-quality personalised items
  • Complete fabrication tasks, including assembling and presenting bundled gift products
  • Conduct quality checks on printed and packed items to ensure brand standards are met
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Meet daily performance targets in line with team productivity and accuracy goals
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment at all times
  • Work flexibly across departments to support shifting business needs during busy periods
  • Report any issues or defects to team leaders to help drive continuous improvement

This role involves standing for extended periods, rotating across production zones, and working to tight schedules — particularly during peak trading periods.

About You

  • Currently operating at Printing Level 1, with a minimum of 6 months at Level 1
  • Positive, can-do attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering accurate work
  • Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines consistently
  • Willingness to rotate across departments and tasks as required
  • Good basic literacy and numeracy skills (reading orders and following instructions)
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends during peak periods

Desirable:

  • Experience in a warehouse, production or fulfilment environment
  • Familiarity with print machinery or fabrication processes
  • Experience using handheld scanners or order processing systems
  • Understanding of health and safety protocols in a logistics or production setting

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a rotating Blue Shift pattern:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Hours:

Weekdays – 12:30pm to 10:30pm

Weekends – 12:00pm to 9:30pm
