[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are actively working with a long standing client who are searching for a new Head of Payroll to join their team on the outskirts of York on a permanent basis. My client are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Payroll that can make their own mark on a strategic level and lead a high performing payroll team.

- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and tax requirements. - Manage payroll reporting and provide insights to the Accounting & Finance department. - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payroll-related queries efficiently. - Implement and optimise payroll systems and processes. - Lead system implementation. - Support audits and ensure all payroll records are maintained accurately. - Lead and develop the payroll team to meet departmental goals.

- Proven experience in Payroll Management or Head of Payroll position. - A strong understanding of UK & Irish payroll legislation and tax regulations. - Proficiency in payroll software and accounting tools. - Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Experience in team leadership and stakeholder management.

- A competitive salary range of £70,000 to £78,000 GBP, based on experience. - Hybrid working with a 3/2 split between York office and home. - Generous holiday allowance and additional company benefits. - A supportive and professional work environment.
