The role involves conducting overhead line inspections, assessing electricity networks, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance. Role & Responsibilities:
- Conducting a full intrusive survey of overhead networks
- Provide solutions for ESQCR defects on low and high voltage networks
- Perform existing pole assessments, location type, conditions.
- Perform detailed overhead surveys, such as ground clearance and span distance measurement
- Able to read and understand maps & drawings
- Identify potential Traffic Management requirements and any wayleave requirements
- Details of any ESQCR Defects or other hazards
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
- Previous overhead powerline experience
- Ability to use a handheld device a tablet/laptop
- Work outdoors in challenging field environments
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
