Job Title: Telecom Engineers

We specialise in the construction, refurbishment and rejuvenation of overhead powerlines & maintenance of network infrastructure. Due to our continued growth, [Employer hidden] are seeking to recruit experienced Telecoms Fibre Engineers in the East Anglia area to work on the BT Openreach network infrastructure.

We are currently recruiting for experienced Telecom Engineers

Qualifications/Training:

Previous Telecom experience & good understanding of the Openreach network
Hold a valid NRSWA Street works Operative Licence Units 1 -4
Hold Openreach overhead, underground and fibre accreditation modules (desirable)
First Aid
Manual Handling
Full Driving Licence
IPAF 1b Static Boom Certificate (desirable)

Role & Responsibilities

Completing Telephone and Fibre Broadband connections in residential and business premises
Replacing (CP) Carrier & (DP) Distribution Poles
Working at heights
Working in Openreach cabinets completing fibre connections
Providing new installations of duct, chambers, cabinets & associated equipment
Installation of overhead fibre cables
Connection into the customer premises
Risk Assessments and hazard identification
Open to new technology comfortable using Smart devices

Working Hours:

Monday- Friday
