Business Development Manager - Fire and Sprinkler Systems

Support the growth of our fire and sprinkler business by identifying new opportunities and building strong client relationships.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will focus on developing new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with contractors, consultants and end clients.

Working closely with our design, estimating and operational teams, you will help develop strong proposals and support the successful delivery of projects across a wide range of sectors including commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and residential.

This role will involve regular travel for client meetings, networking and site visits.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identifying and securing new opportunities across sprinkler systems, fire alarms, fire suppression and maintenance services
  • Building strong relationships with main contractors, M&E contractors, consultants, developers and FM providers
  • Representing [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Systems at client meetings, networking events and industry forums
  • Working with internal teams to develop technical and commercial proposals
  • Managing a healthy pipeline of opportunities across new build, refurbishment and service contracts
  • Collaborating with operational and commercial teams to support successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in business development, sales or account management within fire protection, sprinkler, life safety, M&E or construction sectors
  • Good understanding of fire protection systems, particularly sprinklers, fire alarms or fire suppression systems
  • Experience developing relationships with contractors, consultants or Facilities management providers
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to convert opportunities into secured work
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach with a focus on developing new business
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel is essential
