About the Role:

This role will provide you with an exciting opportunity to join a growing consultancy, with significant career progression opportunities.

You will have knowledge and experience of delivering detailed civil engineering design within the water and/or wastewater sector including pipelines, treatment plants and pumping stations.

Key duties/responsibilities:

  • Develop the engineering design and technical outputs of projects or service areas to meet the client’s brief.
  • Prepare technical documentation, issuing designs, documents, approvals, and reports.
  • Deliver detailed design engineering solutions, drawings, and specifications.
  • Deliver technical excellence and innovation across the project team.
  • Collaborate with Senior/Principal Engineers to ensure delivery within agreed resource allocations.
  • Work in collaboration with other engineering disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
  • Ensure that delivery is achieved in accordance with AMCEs management systems including Health and Safety, project, and risk management.

Qualifications for Role:

Qualifications - Essential (i.e. the qualities an applicant needs to be able to do the job)

academic or professional qualifications

  • Desire to work towards Chartered Civil Engineer.
  • BEng in Civil Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 2 years post graduate work experience in a similar environment.
  • Previous experience at an engineering-based consultancy.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit.
