About the Role:

Duties & This role will provide you with an exciting opportunity to join a growing consultancy, with significant career progression opportunities. Responsibilities You will have knowledge and experience of delivering water and/or wastewater projects including pipelines, treatment plants and pumping stations through the detailed design process.

Key duties/responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering design and technical outputs of projects or service areas to meet the client’s brief.
  • Prepare technical documentation, issuing designs, documents, approvals, and reports.
  • Deliver detailed design engineering solutions, drawings, and specifications.
  • Be the contact for the client, contractors, and other relevant project consultants.
  • Deliver technical excellence and innovation across the project team.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to optimise the resource and demand balance.
  • Work in collaboration with other engineering disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
  • Ensure that delivery is achieved in accordance with AMCEs management systems including Health and Safety, project, and risk management.

Qualifications for Role:

Qualifications - Essential (i.e. the qualities an applicant needs to be able to do the job)

  • Chartered Engineer (or working towards).
  • BEng in Civil Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 5 years post graduate work experience in a similar environment.
  • Previous experience at an engineering-based consultancy.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit.
