Unlock the door to a world of opportunities with our Business and Management degree. Immerse yourself in a dynamic learning environment that will sharpen your strategic thinking, enhance your leadership skills, and prepare you for success in the business landscape.
We teach you the theories of business and management in practical ways, ensuring that you’re ready to tackle real-world challenges. You’ll engage in hands-on projects and case studies that hone your analytical and problem-solving skills. Begin with a Foundation year to enhance your skills in business, management, and professional communication, including academic writing. Develop professional skills and personal attributes through practical exercises such as writing business plans and working in groups.
What is a Foundation Year?
FSB offers an innovative foundation year to complement the Undergraduate Degrees. Our Foundation Year* is the first year of a four-year degree. Completion of the foundation year leads to the first year of the 3-year degree in Business Management.
The foundation year provides those unable to access the traditional UCAS tariff requirements for a three-year degree with an alternative route to gain an honours degree.
What does the course cover?
Become a critical thinker who can tackle the business and management challenges of the future with confidence and creativity.
Along the way, you’ll develop the core skills you need to excel in all kinds of businesses, and start to build a clear picture of exactly where those skills could take you.
This Business degree offers an integrated Foundation year, making it ideal for students who wish to build their skills before transitioning to an undergraduate honours degree in Business and Management.
Integrated Foundation Year (year zero)
The Foundation Year is designed to provide you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to excel in your future studies. You’ll join a supportive and engaging learning environment that will help you develop an understanding of business principles and management practices. With a focus on real-world applications, this foundation year is an ideal stepping stone to the next phase of your degree.
