Formulation Chemist

Job Summary:

At ADSL Laboratories, we specialise in cosmetic formulation, safety testing, and compliance, working with brands to create products that stand out. We’re looking for a Formulation Chemist to join our growing team and contribute to exciting projects in the beauty industry. This role is full time and is based in Paignton, England.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 0900 – 1700 (9:00AM – 5:00PM)

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and test innovative cosmetic formulations.
• Work with cutting-edge ingredients and technologies.
• Ensure products meet regulatory and safety standards.
• Collaborate with brands to bring their vision to life.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field (or similar educational background).
• Experience in formulation development (skincare, haircare, or sun care is a plus!)
• Passion for problem-solving and innovation
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain meticulous records.
• Strong attention to detail and regulatory knowledge
• Proficiency in IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.
