FULL DESCRIPTION

An experienced electrician is needed to step into a leadership role as an Electrical Working Supervisor in Aldershot. Responsibilities include reactive maintenance on occupied properties, processing electrical certificates, and conducting site audits. The role involves a mix of on-site work (3-4 days/week) and office-based tasks (1-2 days/week).

Are you an experienced electrician ready to take the next step but not quite ready to hang up the tools?

We’re looking for an Electrical Working Supervisor to join our team in Aldershot. You will be responsible carrying out reactive maintenance works across occupied properties as well as spending 1 to 2 days per week in the office to assist with processing electrical certificates and electrical site audits.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the tools but is looking to step up into a leadership / supervisory position.

What you’ll be doing:

On the tools (3-4 days per week):

  • Carry out reactive electrical works and breakdowns across occupied MoD properties
  • Diagnose and repair showers, cooker and general electrical faults
  • Ensure all works are being completed safely and efficiently
  • Provide support and training to apprentices or new team members

In the office (1-2 days per week):

  • Process and review electrical certificates
  • Conduct site audits and inspections of electrical works
  • Deliver toolbox talks and support with compliance

Essential Qualifications:

  • NVQ L3 Electrical Installations / City & Guilds 236
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
  • 2391 Inspection and Testing
  • AM2
