PSV Mechanic / Skilled PCV Engineer – Arriva Telford Depot

What You’ll Work On

This is a hands-on, technical role focused on quality engineering and vehicle reliability. Your day will include:

  • Servicing and repairs across a diverse PCV fleet
  • Diagnostic work using the latest tools and equipment
  • MOT prep and planned preventative maintenance
  • Quality checks to maintain high engineering and safety standards
  • Roadside breakdown attendance and reactive repairs
  • Working shifts across earlies/lates/weekends (5 out of 7)

You’ll be supported by a skilled engineering team and a manager committed to standards, development, and giving you the space to apply your technical expertise.

What You’ll Bring

  • Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in PSV/HGV or automotive engineering
  • Ability to work independently and safely to set procedures
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability
  • Electrical knowledge (advantage but not essential)
  • PCV licence desirable (training provided if needed)
  • IRTEC accreditation welcomed (training can be supported)
