Role: Team Leader Photographic Retail

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (Full or Part Time Hours)

Location: London (Covent Garden)

Salary: £17.07 per hour plus 15% Bonus

Your Role & Responsibilities:

Leadership: Lead by example on the sales floor and mentoring the team though 1-2-1 sessions.

Driving sales: Motivate and Support Sales Associates to help customers find their perfect photography products and services

Customer Interaction: Engaging with customers, photographers and creatives to understand their needs and recommend the best solution to match their requirements.

Product Knowledge within Photo & Video: Engaging with customers and guiding the team to ensure they understand and interact with branded areas during the shopping journey.

Organisation: Ensuring the display presence, cleanliness and demo-ready capability of all products and services.

Upselling: Promote active upselling techniques, working through the range by focusing on key customer requirements and presenting a total solution with a focus on KPIs

Standards and Communication: Ensuring store standards are met and the team has the necessary tools through briefings and other leadership activities.

Understanding the industry and brand: Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay informed about our own and other brands.

Service: Providing excellent service in areas at the House of Photography. Supporting Managers with other operational tasks as needed, including store opening and closing.

KPI Focus: Guiding your team through key performance indicators and ensuring they understand the performance metrics.

Leadership skills: You're able to motivate and guide a team of sales associates.

Problem-solving skills: You're able to resolve customer complaints and other issues that may arise.

Photography / Print & Film Knowledge: A strong understanding of the industry

Communication expert: flagship interpersonal and communication skills.

Customer Service Focus: Focus on providing customers with an industry leading customer service and influence.

Initiative and ownership: Take the lead and make an impact in a fast-paced retail environment.

Team Player: Collaborate effectively within our exceptional team and building relationships.

Punctuality & Flexibility: Maintain a good attendance record. A flexible approach to working hours: Including weekends and busy times.
