FULL DESCRIPTION

Assurance Analyst - GGS 10

Be the line of defence. Protect quality. Strengthen trust in delivery.

As the Assurance Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of job completions across our inspection and maintenance delivery. This role is about evidence, accuracy, and insight—making sure what’s reported, paid, and learned truly reflects what happened in the field.

If you’re naturally detail-driven, curious about how things really work, and motivated by making systems better every day, this role offers real impact and a strong foundation for future quality or standards careers.

Why this role matters

Quality assurance underpins everything: customer outcomes, supplier performance, and payment integrity. In this role, your work directly protects standards today—while helping design smarter, more automated assurance for tomorrow. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in our Central Reading office.

What you’ll be here to do:

You’ll be the engine behind quality assurance and payment confidence, working closely with Delivery and Service Managers. You’ll:

  • • Run structured assurance sampling – completing 10% stratified samples (by engineer, site, and job type), expanding samples where error rates indicate risk, alongside 100% population data checks.
  • • Validate evidence and condition scoring – checking photos and completion data against defined standards, spotting inconsistencies and anomalies early.
  • • Produce clear weekly validation packs – turning your findings into concise, trusted insights that enable confident sign-off and payment decisions.
  • • Spot patterns and trends – identifying repeat issues by geography, team, asset type, or supplier to help focus assurance where it matters most.
  • • Help shape the future – contributing to improved processes, tooling, and requirements, with an eye on automation and AI-enabled assurance.

Who we’re looking for:

You’re someone who takes ownership of quality and enjoys working with evidence, data, and standards. You’ll have:

  • • Experience in quality assurance, contract audit, process review, or compliance, ideally in asset- or field-based environments.
  • • A sharp eye for detail and the confidence to challenge when something doesn’t look right.
  • • Comfortable working with photos, datasets, and defined standards, and explaining findings clearly to others.
  • • A collaborative mindset—you build trust by being fair, consistent, and evidence-led.
  • • Technician-level experience is welcome but not essential—this role is also a strong stepping stone into standards, quality, or assurance leadership roles.

If you also have the following, we’re especially interested in talking to you:

  • • Experience of using PowerBI and AI capability to analyse data.
  • • Knowledge of Mobile Infrastructure.

If you care about getting things right, enjoy purposeful collaboration, and want to drive change through insight rather than noise, we’d love to hear from you.
