Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy chilled logistics operation based in Telford. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for steady, ongoing work with new vehicles, flexible shift options, and a strong focus on chilled deliveries.

Key Details:

• Location: Telford
• Vehicle Type: Modern fleet – single deck and moving deck trailers
• Shifts: Days and nights available
• Nights Out: Required (with appropriate allowances)
• Shift Patterns: Fixed and rotating patterns available
• Weekends: Work available

Role Responsibilities:

• Delivering chilled goods to RDCs and customer sites across the UK
• Ensuring all loads are secured and temperature-controlled protocols are followed
• Completing necessary paperwork and adhering to all compliance standards
• Conducting vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Working to tight schedules while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• Valid CPC and Tacho card
• Minimum 6 months’ experience required
• Ability to commit to nights out
• Willingness to complete a driving assessment and induction
