FULL DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a practical, reliable and genuinely customer-focused Home Installation Technician to join [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]. This is a field-based role initially covering South East London. You will travel to customers’ homes to install, set up and occasionally remove [Employer hidden] home monitoring equipment, ensuring everything is working correctly.
Requirements
- Install [Employer hidden] equipment safely and efficiently in customers’ homes - Test all hardware and software before leaving site - Troubleshoot basic connectivity and setup issues - Configure mobile apps (iOS/Android) for family members - Pair and provision IoT devices - Carry out safe mounting (minor drilling and modifications) - Remove or replace equipment when required - Log accurate installation notes in HubSpot CRM - Report incidents promptly and in line with company guidelines - Manage your daily installation schedule - Maintain installation stock and equipment - Share customer feedback with the wider [Employer hidden] team
About You
- Understanding of routers, SSIDs and basic home networking - Confident installing internet-connected devices - Practical and hands-on with strong attention to detail - Clear and reassuring communicator - Comfortable working independently - Basic electrical safety awareness
Desirable
- Experience with assistive technology - Experience installing home automation or alarm systems - Experience working in emotionally sensitive environments - Safeguarding training (Level 1 minimum) - Knowledge of GDPR and data protection

- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle - Willing to undergo DBS background check - Trustworthy, calm and professional - Customer-first mindset
