FULL DESCRIPTION

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Design Architect to join our team on a full-time basis during our project periods, with the possibility of extension. As a Design Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the architectural vision of our projects, from initial concepts through to detailed designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptual Design: Develop creative and functional design concepts for new development projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties.
  • Design Presentations: Prepare and present design proposals, sketches, 3D models, and renderings to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Design Development: Refine and develop approved design concepts into detailed plans, ensuring adherence to project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure seamless integration of architectural and technical aspects.
  • Material Selection: Research and recommend materials, finishes, and products that align with the project vision, sustainability goals, and budget constraints.
  • Project Oversight: Monitor and manage the design process throughout each phase, from concept to construction, ensuring that quality standards are maintained.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all designs comply with building codes, regulations, and safety standards, as well as any local planning and zoning requirements.
  • Client Interaction: Meet with clients and stakeholders to gather feedback, adjust designs as needed, and ensure that the project meets the client’s expectations and company standards.

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a design architect role, preferably with a portfolio that includes residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects in the UK, preferably London.
  • Certification: Registration with ARB (Architects Registration Board) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating creative design skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in both conceptual and technical aspects of architecture.
  • Language: Fluent in English and either Arabic or Persian

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Design Excellence: Strong creative and design skills, with an eye for detail and aesthetics. Ability to think outside the box and create innovative, functional spaces.
  • Software Proficiency: Skilled in using architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., Rhino, V-Ray, or Enscape) is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of building codes, construction standards, and technical design. Ability to produce detailed drawings and documentation.
  • Project Management: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to meet deadlines and deliver within budget.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present and articulate design ideas clearly to clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Collaboration: A team player who is willing to collaborate and work closely with other professionals, including engineers, contractors, and project managers.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to resolve design challenges and unexpected issues creatively and e(cid:431)iciently.
