The ideal candidate will be skilled in laying bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry to build and repair structures. They will ensure that all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lay bricks, blocks, or stone in mortar to construct walls, arches, and other structures.
  • Interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine the layout and dimensions of masonry work.
  • Cut and shape bricks or other materials to fit specific design requirements.
  • Mix and apply mortar using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Install insulation and moisture barriers as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a bricklaying apprenticeship program or vocational training.
  • Proven experience as a Bricklayer in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of masonry materials, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and construction plans.
