Roles & Responsibilities:

Process:

  • Performing verification of the checks performed within the department.
  • Developing the current checking system, through experience and dynamic assessment.
  • The ability to analyse data, communicate findings effectively, to drive change and to ensure that standards are raised.
  • Working with your line manager and peers to ensure that progress is measured, and that you receive the necessary support in this role.
  • Ensure your team and area is maintaining constant GMP environment Management.

Management:

  • Day to day management of the team.
  • Ensure the achievement of KPI targets and drive improvements against KPIs .
  • Act as a champion for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain training plans for individuals within your team.
  • Supporting the Production Manager in building team effectiveness throughout the department.
  • Create a culture of Health & Safety awareness, good manufacturing practice, high quality standard, good housekeeping.
  • Proactively linking in with functions across the business, to ensure that relationships can be built cross-functionally.

Requirements:

  • Solid team management skills.
  • Strong GMP working experience.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Excellent social skills: ability to build and be a great partner within the business.
  • Strong communication levels, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Solid I.T skills, including the use of standard I.T suites.
  • Experience of continuous improvement using analytical data and driving change.
  • Working knowledge/experience of ISO standards such as 9001, 22716, (Cosmetics GMP) and FDA or equivalent regulatory requirements, would be desirable but are not a prerequisite.
