#### About the Role:

As a Press Toolmaker, you’ll play a key role in the manufacture, maintenance, and development of high-quality press tools to exacting standards. You’ll work from technical drawings to produce new tooling and ensure existing tools perform optimally for production efficiency and accuracy.

#### Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture, assemble, and maintain press tools, jigs, and fixtures
  • Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances
  • Operate a range of manual and CNC machinery (e.g., milling, grinding, turning, EDM)
  • Diagnose and repair tooling issues to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to improve tooling performance
  • Ensure all work meets health & safety and quality standards

#### ​About You

  • Preferably Time-served Toolmaker or equivalent but will consider candidates based on level of experience
  • Strong background in press tools (progressive, single-stage, or transfer tools)
  • Competent with precision measuring instruments and toolroom machinery
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Team-oriented but capable of working independently
