Health Care Assistant

Type: Full-time/Part-time

Summary of duties:

  • Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse/ senior professional, duties and responsibilities may include:
  • Looking after, the physical, emotional, cultural and social needs of the Clients using a person-centred approach
  • Observing and promoting the Client’s choice, independence, dignity, privacy, fulfilment and other rights
  • Creating and maintaining good professional relationships with Clients, their family and friends and other stakeholders
  • Taking care of the day-to-day needs of clients by providing help with personal care, meals and mobility.
  • Housekeeping duties, as well as performing basic medical checks may also be required

Candidate Specification:

  • Minimum 6 months’ experience
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be committed and dedicated to the role

All candidates will be asked to register and fund applications to join the PVG scheme or update existing records.

You will be asked to provide 2 reference contacts of which support your care experience
