Technical Services Manager

The Technical Services Manager is responsible for bridging customer requirements with technical delivery. The role ensures projects are successfully planned, implemented, and delivered to a high standard through close collaboration with customers, engineering teams, and key stakeholders. Combining technical expertise, leadership, and customer engagement, this position drives the delivery of practical, high-quality solutions while supporting continuous development across the business. The role also contributes to the design and delivery of internal and external training programmes. Some UK and international travel with overnight stays will be required.

This is an opportunity to work across a wide range of technologies, develop your skills alongside industry-leading engineers, and make a visible impact in a small, specialist team.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Engineering or science degree or demonstrable working experience.
  • High proficiency in the English Language.

Desirable:

  • Project Management Qualification or relevant experience.
  • IOSH or similar Health and Safety Management qualification or experience.

Experience

Essential:

  • Experience managing small projects to completion.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging technologies in systems support.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and commercial awareness.

Desirable:

  • Engineering or technical background with knowledge of calibration or instrumentation.
  • Supervisory or line management experience.
  • Experience in oil, gas, or related industrial sectors.
