Role Overview:

As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective music lessons to primary school students. You will create a positive learning atmosphere, encourage student participation, and help students develop their musical skills and appreciation for music.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of all students.
  • Deliver dynamic and interactive music lessons that inspire and motivate students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's overall success.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills.

What we're looking for...

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Music or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable).

Experience:

  • Previous experience teaching music at the primary level.
  • Proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
