As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing compassionate care to our residents. Working closely with the Registered Care Manager, you will assist in coordinating and delivering person-centered care plans. Your experience and nurturing nature will be crucial in supporting our care team and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

  • Previous experience as a Care Assistant or similar role
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Empathetic and patient approach to caregiving
  • Excellent communication and observational skills
  • Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist the Registered Care Manager in coordinating and delivering person-centered care to residents.
  • Provide support and supervision to Care Assistants, ensuring the delivery of care aligns with established care plans.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and meals, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Observe and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the care management team.
  • Engage residents in social activities and encourage participation in recreational programs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and resident progress.
  • Collaborate with other members of the care team to ensure continuity of care and a holistic approach to resident well-being.
