Engagement Director
As an Engagement Director at [Employer hidden], you will be a key leadership figure in the business and member of our Management Team. Accountable for your share of growing our business through new sales, account growth, and development of our people.
You’ll be a trusted advisor to C-suite clients, a source of strategic insight on accounts and usually in one or more industries, and be responsible for shaping complex business challenges into actionable opportunities that deliver measurable impact for your clients.
The teams you will lead will draw upon your background at a senior level in industry or at a Director/Partner level for another consultancy to steer strategic growth of our established accounts, and you’ll be independently capable at selling to your established network of contacts and our prospective new clients.
You’ll support develop the people you lead and contribute actively to our broader communities of practice and foster a growth mindset amongst our people.
As a member of the Management Team you’ll have a key say in how the business runs, and in setting and achieving our ambitious targets for continued growth.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Either:
- Significant senior industry experience (C-suite or C-suite +1 depending upon the size of the organisation) with a proven track record of successful transformation leadership experience in an IT or Operational/Business context.
- Senior consulting experience (Director or Partner level / equivalent) in IT, Management or Strategy, with a proven track record of growing business with existing clients, nurturing and closing new business opportunities, and developing your teams.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and defining, designing, and implementing solutions for complex business challenges.
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with excellent listening skills and the ability to influence the most senior stakeholders in client organisations.
- Thought leadership within an industry/area of expertise, with experience personally producing, publishing, and sharing marketable and engaging insights.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and creativity, with the ability to apply innovative thinking to complex problems, supporting teams to break these down.
- Commercial acumen coupled with executive presence and gravitas, able to engage confidently with senior leaders – exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership and entrepreneurial drive, consistently raising standards for client service and engagement delivery.
