About the job…Senior R&D Engineer – Clara Co. Offaly / Derry, NI

The Senior R&D Engineer will support and contribute to packaging development programs, providing solutions valued by our customers and driving profitable growth.

This innovative role will include applications development, new materials introduction, materials enhancements and/ or cost-out initiatives. To understand and collaborate with our customer’s needs and rapidly drive the development and implementation of products. To align and be responsive to market need and business strategy. Be passionate about engineering research that strive to bring [Employer hidden] to the highest market position.

Have You…?

  • A degree in polymer science and/ or an engineering degree background [essential]
  • A minimum of 5 years in a packaging-based environment [desirable]
  • Ability to engage with other software outside of Microsoft [desirable]
  • Champion quality and drive a continuous improvement culture
  • Packaging specific background would be an advantage [desirable]
  • An enthusiasm towards analytical thinking with problem solving skills
