FULL DESCRIPTION

Adult Psychiatrist

We are seeking a GMC-registered Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a range of mental health disorders. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required as part of the pre-employment process, should an offer of employment be made.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and formulate treatment plans
  • Diagnose and manage mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and psychotic disorders
  • Prescribe and manage medications following best practices
  • Provide therapeutic interventions where appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with psychologists & therapists
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records

Must Have

  • Doctor Medical Degree
  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice
  • Experience in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid work permit at UK

Nice to have

  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Additional languages
  • Experience in private practice.
