FULL DESCRIPTION

Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for a diverse client base experiencing a range of mental health difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and complex psychological conditions.

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required as part of the pre-employment process, should an offer of employment be made.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments and develop personalised treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based therapy (CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, psychodynamic, or integrative approaches)
  • Work with individuals, couples, families, and groups as appropriate
  • Collaborate with other clinicians
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical records and ensure adherence to ethical guidelines
  • Participate in clinical supervision, training, and ongoing professional development

Must Have

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent)
  • HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Experience working with a range of mental health conditions
  • Strong skills in assessment, formulation, and intervention
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid work permit at UK

Nice to have

  • Additional training in specialised therapies (e.g., EMDR, schema therapy)
  • Additional languages
  • Experience in private practice or NHS settings is desirable
