FULL DESCRIPTION

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is currently recruiting for a Network Engineer for our client, a leading retailer who are undertaking a digital transformation. They are looking to bring on board an experienced Network Engineer with extensive experience of network technologies and architecture such as TCP/IP and hands on experience with Cisco Meraki network products and components.

Key responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining network infrastructure across the globe.
Support on design and maintenance of all Networking components (routing, switching, firewalls, wireless)
Hands on work with Cisco Meraki network products and components
Cisco CCNA Enterprise Infrastructure or similar
Working with Cisco AnyConnect
Expert / SME support on complex network issues and incidents
Support in the rollout of the new Network strategy and design.
Work closely with Information Security, a Managed Network Support Provider and wider IT to keep their systems running stable and secure.
WCNA (Wireshark)
Supporting the development and adoption of new network solutions
Support and Troubleshooting of Enterprise VPN solutions.

Required skills:

3+ years working as a NOC, Network Engineering or Network Support Roles
Excellent working knowledge of Wan Technologies, Switching and Wireless.
Hands on Experience with Cisco Meraki network products and components.
Good understanding of ITIL concepts and change management.
Significant experience with TCP/IP stack.
Cisco CCNA Enterprise Infrastructure or equivalent
PRTG or Equivalent Certified
