Job Title: Hygiene Chargehand - Food Manufacturing

Hourly Rate of Pay: £13.06
Contract Type: Permanent
Type of Employment: Full Time 
Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 48
Shift Timings: Saturday to Thursday; 22:00 to 07:00 (6 nights)
Location:  Pladis, Waxlow Road, Harlesden, London, Greater London, England NW10 7NY

Manage operations

• Compliance – ensure all daily, weekly and periodic sign off sheets are completed and stored in line with client requirements
• Walk round entire site daily to check on operations
• Ensure QHSE compliance site wide, working closely with regional team
• Handle product contamination issues, glass breakages or pest activity
• Deal with customer complaints or concerns
• Observe all client and company statutory fire and safety regulations and promote good safety habits. Follow the [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Livesafe principles
• Manage the hygiene tasks scheduled on a daily basis
• Cover staff when they call in absent/holiday

What we are looking for

• Previous cleaning experience
• Good communication skills
• Someone to work with the existing team and be a point of escalation
• Previous cleaning experience within a food manufacturing environment
• To be able to work with the client staff to help resolves any adhoc works
• Use initiative and work to a high standard of work.
• Report to supervisors and contract manager
