FULL DESCRIPTION

Financial Accountant

As Financial Accountant, this role supports the month end financial close and financial and management reporting on this 12 month fixed term contract. Prepare monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and variance analysis Support the annual report and accounts process Manage the fixed asset register and advise on IAS 38 project capitalisation Work with tax advisors on corporation tax returns and compliance Maintain the Finance team’s risk and controls register Provide audit support and develop a strong control environment Deliver ad hoc analysis for senior stakeholders Coach and mentor junior finance staff Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance function

What experience will you have?

Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Strong experience of month end close and management accounts Experience of supporting year-end accounting and external audit Any experience within fintech/financial services/banking a plus but not essential

Duration: 12 month FTC Location: City of London/Hybrid - 50% office/50% home Salary: To £63,000 + benefits
