What will you be doing?

Lead technical accounting assessments and structuring for new transactions, products, significant contracts and other ad hoc projects Take ownership of accounting policy development and implementation Review horizon scanning assessments and escalate as required Prepare management judgement papers on accounting matters for the Bank Audit Committee and presentation thereof Lead external auditor engagement on technical accounting matters Prepare key sections of the annual report and accounts Lead 1 direct team and mentor and coach other staff within finance

What key skills will you have?

Qualified accountant with post qualified experience with experience working within banking, lending or wider financial services. This could also suit a relevant experienced candidate moving from technical accounting within the top 10 audit firms seeking a move to industry with the relevant sector experience Ideally experience of IFRS9, 2 & 3 Strong stakeholder management skills both internally and externally

Office and hybrid working?

2-3 days office and 2-3 home based
