FULL DESCRIPTION

Finance Manager - 6 month FTC

Reporting to the CFO, As Finance Manager you will take ownership of the daily running of the finance department from overseeing the outsourced bookkeeping activities to month end, year end and external audit support.

Salary: £75-85,000 pro rata

Location: London/Hybrid - 1-2 days per week office

Responsibilities

Ownership of the monthly management accounts process including journal postings and BS recs through to TB

Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns

Supporting the year end accounting reporting including their first external audit

Monthly and quarterly interest, facility fee and commission calculations

End to end ownership of the loan book and cash recs

Supporting the streamlining and documentation of finance processes and identifying ways to further automate and scale reporting to investors and debt funders.

Requirements

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience within management and financial accounting and reporting and have experience working within financial services ideally an alternative lending type business, banking or payments. Any experience of loan operations (interest calculations, debt holder payments, loan recs etc) an advantage.

You will be comfortable working within a fast paced start-up environment, happy being hands on and in the detail
