Job Summary
To provide an efficient plumbing service to our main client ng homes, ranging from ad-hoc minor plumbing works through to large-scale refurbishment projects. Projects can range from individual properties wash hand basins removed / replaced through to full kitchens, bathrooms or wet room upgrades.
The majority of the works will be within ng homes housing stock e.g. void properties and tenanted properties as well as ng homes offices.
Main Duties of the Post
The main duties and responsibilities of the post include the following:
- Carrying out all works in compliance with the organisation’s quality standards and in line with the company’s health and safety policy
- Fully completing daily paperwork (time sheets, purchase orders etc.)
- Daily reporting to the Trades Foreperson on progress and completion of works and contracts
- Responsibility for conducting daily safety and condition checks of all work tools, machinery and equipment including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and access equipment (ladders etc.)
- Responsibility for conducting daily checks on any company vehicle being used and ensuring it’s cleanliness both internally and externally
- Working to a safe, professional and efficient standard
- Ensuring own safety and that of colleagues and members of the public
