Electrician – Solar PV & EV Charging
Location: Staffordshire (Travel Required)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Van + Benefits
The Role
You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of renewable energy systems including Solar PV, battery storage and EV charging infrastructure across domestic and commercial projects.
Working as part of a professional and supportive team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality installations while maintaining strong safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain Solar PV systems, battery storage units and EV charging stations
- Ensure all works are completed in line with current regulations and industry standards
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety legislation and best practice
- Communicate effectively with clients, site teams and management
- Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of works completed and materials used
- Ensure all certifications and documentation are kept up to date
- Work collaboratively within a team environment while also self-managing workload
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Valid ECS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence

- Strong industry knowledge within electrical or renewable sectors
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess own performance and contribute to team performance
- Confident communicating technical information clearly to customers and colleagues
- Flexible and adaptable to varied working environments
- Experience working both independently and within a team
- Proven ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
