District Asset Protection Manager, South UK

- Full-time

The District Manager of Asset Protection (DMAP) is a strategic leader responsible for driving the Asset Protection vision across a multi-store district (15+ stores). This role delivers shrink reduction, enhances safety culture, strengthens operational execution, and builds capability across store and AP teams. DMAP acts as a key business partner to Store Leaders and District Managers, ensuring both proactive risk management and strong investigative outcomes.

- Lead the execution of Asset Protection strategy across the district, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with EMEA AP priorities. - Inspire and coach Store Managers, APA/API teams, and cross-functional partners to strengthen shrink culture, safety mindset and operational standards. - Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, developing, and guiding AP Agents and Investigators.

- Provide clear direction, mentorship, ongoing feedback and career development support to elevate confidence, decision-making, and leadership capability, helping prepare Sr. API/API talent for progression into DMAP roles.

- Manage the Focus Store Program, ensuring action plans are created, executed and measured for stores with elevated shrink or safety risk. - Partner with Store Leaders and DMs to develop proactive risk-mitigation plans tailored to store environment, trends, and customer behaviours. - Use performance data, shortage analytics, RFID results, and operational insights to identify root causes and influence corrective actions.

- Develop and deliver store-level training with support of AP team members within the district on Asset Protection standards, safety communication, crisis response and shrink reduction techniques. - Facilitate zone calls, engagement sessions, and targeted coaching to ensure stores understand and execute AP expectations. - Responsible for determining district Audit strategy through review of pre-shrink indicators, safety compliance, stockroom standards, customer service behaviours and Omni-readiness and managing audit program compliance amongst direct report group.

- Monitor inventory accuracy through review of physical inventories, inbound/outbound processes, forced carton compliance, and transfer activity.

- Lead and guide investigations into internal theft, policy violations, cash loss and operational integrity concerns. - Conduct interviews (WZ trained) and support corrective action processes. - Support Organized Retail Crime investigations, partnering with ORC, Law Enforcement, and cross-functional AP teams. - Ensure high-quality case documentation, precise incident reporting, and follow-through of investigative outcomes.

- Build and maintain strong business partnerships with Store Operations, HR, DMs, Supply Chain, Legal, Facilities and external networks (mall security, police). - Communicate expectations clearly, influence business decisions and provide proactive guidance on emerging risks. - Represent AP on district/market leadership calls, ensuring visibility and alignment. - Drive a culture of compliance by clearly communicating expectations, monitoring and coaching team members to consistently apply apprehension guidelines, documentation standards, and safety protocols.

- Support special projects and EMEA initiatives as assigned by the RMAP such as committee work and external marketing events.

- Experience in the Asset Protection field including supervisory role - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English and local language (where appropriate) - Demonstrated ability to lead teams remotely - Confident and able to talk in front of groups - Effective at fostering strong business partnerships - Ability to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions based on company apprehension guidelines - Ability to work nights, evenings, and weekends appropriate to retail business needs - Wicklander - Zulawski interview qualification is desirable - Working knowledge of Asset Protection resources (case management systems, POS exception reporting, auditing tools, and data analysis)
