Job Overview
The Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and providing technical and product expertise. This role combines commercial leadership with strong technical knowledge to expand [Employer hidden]’s product portfolio and deliver tailored lighting control solutions to customers.
Responsibilities
### Sales Growth & Market Development
- Oversee company sales growth by evaluating sales reports and identifying opportunities for specific products and services
- Develop new customers and explore potential business opportunities
- Maintain long-term cooperative relationships to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Promote the company and its products through high-level marketing and business development activities
- Meet planned sales goals and contribute to overall revenue growth
### Customer Management & Business Development
- Provide customers with professional product introductions and technical solutions
- Conduct business negotiations and facilitate contract signing
- Ensure contract performance, including receivables collection
- Prepare travel plans and customer visit reports for approval
- Maintain and update customer information in the CRM system accurately
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in a Sales Manager or Technical Sales role is essential
- Experience in lighting control, sensors, or building automation is highly desirable
- Relevant academic background in Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Building Services, or Business/Marketing
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is essential; additional languages are a plus
- Strong technical understanding with the ability to explain complex products clearly
- Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales data and market trends
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
