Operational Underwriting Analyst

If you have an interest in the Insurance, Finance and/or Risk industries and are looking to build a long-lasting, successful career then look no further! This will include building a successful network of internal and external relationships; responding to a variety of enquiries and meeting high standards to ensure customer satisfaction.

This will include building a successful network of internal and external relationships; responding to a variety of enquiries and meeting high standards to ensure customer satisfaction. And you will:

  • Collaborating with our Trading Underwriter team in London to deliver end-to-end policy management for large, complex corporate risks
  • Spotting and driving opportunities for operational improvements
  • Delivering business-important metrics alongside our management team
  • Taking personal responsibility for development in line with business strategy
  • Acting on feedback from customers and sharing ideas with managers and peers

What You’ll Be Doing

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven record of delivering excellent customer outcomes
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Good IT knowledge (spreadsheets, databases, word processing)
  • Previous underwriting experience is not essential – full training will be provided
  • Experience in insurance or financial services is preferable but not essential
