Our client is a rapidly growing success story, dominating their market place in the UK and conquering new international markets. The resent growth has led to a need for increased compliance, governance and process, in the UK, Europe and the US and they seek to appoint an experienced interim Accountant to take responsibility for shaping the business to meet these requirements. It requires a sleeves rolled up approach and is all about Controls, Policy & Process.

You will be a Qualified Accountant with a passion for change in a fast-paced environment and a clear vision of what "best practice" looks like.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with operations to implement greater controls
• Creation of monthly working capital reporting and interpretation and communication of insights and issues
• Working with Operations team and other key stakeholders to ensure system records are accurate and any issues are overcome
• Responsible for creation of key policies and procedures, principally Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Inventory and Treasury
• Ensuring third party agency has the required information in a timely manner to file VAT returns in Netherlands
• Reconciliation of excise duty account on monthly basis and payment of amount owed
• Leading on the annual audit, with top 10 audit firm conducting the audit
• Creation of quarterly Board working capital reporting for CFO
