Logistics Manager

Skills / Experience

- Strategically plan and manage logistics, to include internal transportation for all Units - Introduce Kanban systems where appropriate - Utilise ERP system to maximise efficiencies in receiving product, and method of delivery to point of use incorporating Bar Code technology & stock control using PI Counting methodology - Warehouse management to ensure efficient use of space and ensure appropriate material handling equipment including Forklifts used throughout the Business. - Supervise, coach and train warehouse teams - Keep track of quality, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency - Resolve any arising problems or complaints - Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets - Maintain driver Quality and No-show rate - Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements - Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements - Working with the purchasing team to effectively manage procurement strategy, considering quality, cost & delivery impact.
