Product Development Manager, Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing and evolving global FMCG manufacturer as a product development manager, managing the pipeline of concept-to-launch product development, working at the forefront of food technology and sustainability, developing new products and driving innovation and excellence for a range of market-leading global consumer products.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading a product development team and a portfolio of complex NPD and innovation projects
• Technical leadership, governance and management within the product development team, ensuring product solutions are consumer led and robustly validated
• Project delivery and technical guidance to influence technical feasibility, approach and timeline of projects
• Forging strong and effective relationships with a network of technical and non-technical stakeholders, both internally and with suppliers.

About you

You will have a background in food manufacturing, line management experience and a sound technical understanding of ingredients - experience of powder-manufacturing processes would be highly desirable - new process technologies and hands-on management of multiple projects. You will also have a high level of numeracy in order to interpret trend analysis and consumer insights, with some knowledge of statistical tools for analysing data.
