What you’ll take on You’ll be the connective tissue of DRS—owning day‑to‑day broking and technical queries, keeping documentation watertight, and turning complex data into clear, confident decisions. As the link between commercial and technical teams, you’ll coordinate the full rhythm of delegated authority operations: monthly ‘state of play’ checks, bordereaux review, performance and aggregate reporting, and client outreach. Bring 3–6 years in delegated technical or junior broking, sharp project management, and a genuine appetite for client and market exposure—and we’ll back you to grow fast. --- What you’ll do Be the broker’s right hand - Support Income Generators with broking activity, helping shape submissions, keep pipelines moving and remove roadblocks. Guard the standard, bridge the gap - Act as the second line of defence and trusted conduit between Income Generators and Technical—resolving day‑to‑day queries and ensuring nothing falls between the cracks. Own complex referrals - Manage referrals and special acceptances, aligning stakeholders quickly and documenting decisions clearly. Turn data into direction - Create and distribute contractual statistics (income, performance, aggregate usage, large losses, CAT losses) using Ionic (or equivalent) so the team always has the facts at their fingertips. Run the technical engine - Coordinate and complete technical tasks end-to-end, maintaining momentum across multiple binders and timelines. Keep the paper perfect - Lead monthly ‘state of play’ reviews to confirm all contractual documentation is signed, filed and up to date. Make the numbers tell the story - Oversee bordereaux receipt and checks, validating alignment to binder terms before issues become problems. Show up for clients - Assist with client outreach and timely follow-up—professional, proactive and always on brand. And the rest - Roll up your sleeves for additional duties as assigned; we move quickly and back people who step in where they’re needed most. --- What you’ll bring - 3–6 years’ experience in a delegated technical or junior broking role. - Real project management discipline—you’re accountable, structured and comfortable owning deadlines. - Curiosity for client and market exposure—you like the front end as much as the engine room. - Working knowledge of the binder lifecycle and key market systems. --- How you work - Organised and outcome‑driven: you prioritise well, run multiple workflows and deliver on time. - A clear communicator: you translate detail for different audiences and keep brokers, technicians and clients aligned. - Precision with purpose: you care about data accuracy, documentation quality and doing it right first time. - Commercially aware: comfortable engaging with clients and markets, with the judgment to escalate when needed. - Technically fluent: familiar with delegated authority processes, reporting requirements and bordereaux handling; confident working with performance data, loss reporting and binder oversight tools (e.g., Ionic).
