Roles and Responsibilities:
- • Coordinate transportation activities, including scheduling and dispatching drivers.
- • Monitor transportation costs and performance metrics to ensure efficiency.
- • Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to coordinate deliveries.
- • Utilise logistics software to track shipments and resolve any issues.
- • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
- • Maintain accurate records of transportation activities.
Skills and Experience:
- • Essential skills: Customer service, logistics, computer literacy.
- • Desirable skills: IT, supply chain, proficiency in Word and Outlook.
- • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- • A valid driving licence is preferred.
