About us

[Employer hidden] LIMITED is an Essex based homecare service provider. We work with clinical study investigator sites to deliver homecare service for patients participating in clinical studies. Homecare services are provided by registered nurses.

We are currently looking for NMC registered nurses located in the following areas Newcastle Upon Tyne, Hexham, North Tees, Sunderland and Durham.

We are looking for a Research Nurse/Homecare Nurse to join our growing team, helping patients to continue clinical research participation from their own homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing in-homecare and nursing services to patients under the supervision of a physician. Their primary duties include collection of blood samples, nasal/throat swabs, administering study questionnaires, shipment of samples to central laboratory or research study site, and completion of study documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out study homecare research procedures.
  • Follow a strict research protocol in compliance with the Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
  • Reporting signs and symptoms.
  • Monitor changes in the patient concomittant medication.
  • Perform auscultation.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and documenting.
  • Educating and advising the study patient and their care givers.
  • Complete source documents.
  • Communicate any concerns to the study patient physicians.

Requirements:

  • * NMC registration.
  • *At least 2 years experience.

Study training and supplies will be provide.

Reimbursement for mileage and rate includes travel time.

Job Type: Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6 months

Salary: £30.00-£40.00 per hour
