EF Coordinator
The Role Reporting to the Events and Lettings Manager, this is a live-in role based in Centenary Boarding House, 7 Queen’s Road, Ryde, PO33 3BE. The role is in place between Monday 6th July and Wednesday 19th August 2026 (inclusive), covering 39 hours, including 08.00 - 10.00 and 18.00 - 22.30 Monday - Saturday. A degree of flexibility is essential for this role. Purpose To ensure the safe, secure and efficient operation of EF residential programmes at [Employer hidden] by providing clear communication, strong on-site oversight, and effective coordination between EF and the School. The role supports safeguarding, operational continuity, and a positive experience for both students and staff while protecting the security and reputation of the School. Responsible for: ● Acting as the primary [Employer hidden] contact for EF. ● Supporting the induction, supervision and welfare of EF students on site. ● Managing communication between EF, Estates, Catering and the Events & Lettings Manager. ● Monitoring student conduct and reporting incidents appropriately. ● Ensuring compliance with school policies, safeguarding requirements and emergency procedures. Key Responsibilities ● Be the first point of [Employer hidden] contact for the EF Team Lead. ● Hold regular morning and evening meetings with the EF Lead to discuss daily/weekly student movement, changes in numbers, and any evolving requirements ● Attend regular morning meetings with the Events and Lettings Manager and escalate issues or security incidents as required. ● Liaise with the EF Lead, Catering and the Estates teams to agree & coordinate operational adjustments. ● Brief students on arrival days regarding site layout, rules, procedures and safety. ● Monitor student behaviour across the site and provide feedback to the EF Team Lead. ● Complete incident reports and submit copies to the Events and Lettings Manager. ● Ensure safeguarding principles are upheld at all times. ● Manage and oversee security of Centenary Boarding House and any associated EF areas. ● Complete daily checklists of tasks and obtain sign-off. ● Taking a joint role with EF Lead in any fire evacuation, ensuring all guests are accounted for, identifying the activation point and calling emergency services if required. Ensuring all EF staff and students are familiar with fire evacuation procedures. Additional Information Meals are available free of charge whilst EF students are on-site. Meals must be eaten in the Dining Hall with staff and students. Any other meals are not supplied.
