[Employer hidden] is looking for a Volunteer Events and Campaigns Support to help bring our social justice initiatives to life. This role is perfect for energetic individuals who want to learn how to organize impactful events and mobilize people for a cause. No prior experience in event planning or campaigning is required, just a proactive attitude and a passion for making a difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of virtual and in-person events (webinars, workshops, or community rallies).
• Campaign Mobilization: Help spread the word about active campaigns to increase public participation and sign-ups.
• Content Creation: Draft engaging promotional materials, such as event descriptions, email invites, and social media announcements.
• Logistics & Coordination: Help manage attendee lists, track registrations, and provide tech support during online events.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the creative and advocacy teams to ensure campaign goals are met.

Skills and Qualities

• Passion for People: A genuine interest in social justice and building community connections.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to stay on top of small details and follow a checklist.
• Communication: Clear written skills for drafting invites and verbal skills for engaging with the public.
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with (or a willingness to learn) tools like Zoom, Eventbrite, and basic social media platforms.
• Reliability: Ability to work remotely and be dependable during "go-time" for live events or campaign launches.
