Job Title: After School Club Manager
Location: St Werburgh's Primary School, Avon, Bristol BS2 9US
Hours: 15 hours per week during term time & 40 hrs per week during all School Holidays.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday - Hours: 15.00 - 18.00 for After School Club
Pay: £14.00 per hour
NB: The successful candidate will be put forward for Paediatric First Aid Qualificaton, paid for by us if not already qualified

Contracts Available: Permanent - Part time during Term Time & Full Time during School Holidays
- Oversee all daily operations of the club, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to established policies and procedures
- Manage and supervise club staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with club members, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner
- Manage the club's budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures to ensure financial sustainability
- Plan, coordinate, and execute club events, activities, and programs to enhance member engagement and satisfaction
- Ensure the club facility is well-maintained, safe, and compliant with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones
- Handle member complaints and conflicts with professionalism, working toward mutually satisfactory resolutions
- Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management regarding club performance, membership metrics, and operational challenges
- Maintain accurate records of membership, finances, and club activities
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize service delivery and member experience
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing or operating clubs, fitness centers, or similar membership-based organizations
- Proven experience working with and managing children or youth programs
- Strong leadership and staff management skills with demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and supervise teams
- Excellent customer service and member relations skills
- Proficiency in budget management, financial planning, and cost control
- Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements for club operations
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with club management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
- Certification in club management or hospitality management
- Experience with marketing and member retention strategies
- Background in event planning and coordination
- Knowledge of facility maintenance and operations management
- Experience handling member complaints and conflict resolution
- Familiarity with membership database systems and reporting tools
